Hello,recently we have had customers and other people just interested ask the question,where do you get the wood for your lamps from? well a lot of it comes from the Taborri Ranch. The Taborri ranch is a little piece of Montana that was heavily logged about 30 yrs ago. The new growth forest grew back very thick and practically impossible to walk through. We bought the ranch in 2002 and started clearing and thinning for a healthier bug free forest, with careful management we are able too bring our clients unique handcrafted genuine Montana log lighting products and help contribute to a healthy green, bug free forest that in return gives us more clean air to breath for years to come. as far as the driftwood,it comes from the great Rocky Mountain lake shores that abound where we go to explore regularly,Please note that most of this driftwood has seen a Grizzly bear or two so you know we are risking our lives to get unique and one of a kind wood to custom handcraft our lamps.The picture is from a little part of the ranch.
